A poor auto rickshaw driver finds an expensive camera left behind in his vehicle. After weighing his options on whether to sell or rent it, he finally decides to make a movie with the help of his fellow villagers.
Cinema Bandi Movie Review – Plot:
Veerababu hails from a poor village and makes ends meet by driving an auto. One fine day he finds an expensive camera that a passenger has left behind. He consults with his friend Ganapathi, a small time wedding photographer, who convinces him to hold onto this fancy equipment. Veerababu hesitant at first eventually gets inspired to make a movie in the hopes that it will make him rich.
After getting a script from the village grandpa, they set off in search for the hero and heroine. Their hunt for the perfect on screen pair is filled with funny moments that will leave you in splits. They creepily hang out in front of a school trying to get girls to come and act for them, not even thinking how it makes them look.
Once shooting starts, it is a laugh fest throughout. Over acting, heroine eloping with her school sweetheart, costumes not matching, and battery dying are only a few of the hurdles they face on their journey of film making. It doesn’t stop them though, because at the root of it all, what they want with the money is better living conditions. Your heart goes out to them automatically.
What happens when the owner of the camera turns up looking for it? The dream of an entire village is resting on that one piece of equipment. Will it be shattered or will something unexpected happen?
The movie has to be experienced while watching, and the moments, to be lived along with this group of misfits.

The makers of the popular web series Family Man have created this little gem. It is what motivated me to watch the movie in the first place. It will definitely meet your expectations and more.
Such a refreshing story told so well. It makes you laugh, makes you think and in the end leaves you feeling good, down to your insides.
The actors are so natural and so good at what they do. It was effortless as they breathe life into the characters. The series of events so well thought out. Excellent screenplay.
All in all it’s an amazing movie. It is the perfect stress buster in these anxious times, so leave all your worries behind for an hour, sit back and enjoy this story.
