Office Romance: Episode 1
Most of us have gone through at least once or many times or have a crush, attraction in the workplace is common and natural as you spend most of your day in the office, so either you have experienced one or like to know one, here is my office romance story :
On the first day of my second job, corporate setup, I was told to sit in a particular cubicle. Had some query to ask but as my manager was not yet in(flexible company culture), so turned left to ask the other person and said hey, but never expected this, here she was wearing glasses, sweet, beautiful saying “Yes”, not too welcoming, not too rejecting, somewhere in between with the right mix of attitude like a senior to new joiner.
Was silenced for like a few seconds and then reality kicked in, I asked – can you tell me how should I do this? (didn’t remember exactly what I was asking) but anyway that’s not important, she said something and I followed it, but in my brain, I was like seriously God, I am so dumb in these matters and you also never helped but today, is it for like real, oh God can something like this happen with me, but then I was like control, control it’s just a beautiful girl sitting beside me that’s that.
After a 2 hour curfew, which I knowingly didn’t interact with, just keeping my attitude intact, but then she asked “what about your lunch? Do you want to come with me?”
