The Strange House Movie Review – Analysis:

When Hendrick (Leon Orlandiany) and Eddie (Benno Rosskopf) moved to their new house in Austria, they got an opportunity to give a fresh start. Hendrick was not so happy as he had to left his friends behind. Even though they started adjusting to the new environment, soon they discovered there is something amiss in the house. Eddie started sleepwalking and sculpturing on the wall, on the attic. Not only that, family photos started getting disappeared, the door opens all by itself and many other bizarre things started happening. Shortly after they came across the truth that the house is haunted and has a brutal history. Back in the year 1890, a mother poisoned two sons and killed herself. Although, the plot is very similar to Hunted Manson where a group of kids wants to help figure out what happened and maybe sets some spirits free.

The Strange House Movie Review – Our Review:

We have seen house-hunted movies like Sinister, The Amityville Horror, The Conjuring before this. The Strange House is a less scary version and a bit more family-friendly. The movie Stranger Things vibes too as the group of children (Hendrick, Eddi, Fritz, and Ida) banding together to solve a mystery. Lars Bitterlich who played Fritz was the perfect fit for the role. He was fearless enough to stand against the bullies. Mari Wechsler plays Ida with a delightful sense of self-assuredness. Between the brothers, Ida, and the ridiculously funny Fritz, we’ve got the ideal ragtag team of mystery-solvers at the heart of this flick. All in all, The Strange House is a family-friendly flick but genuinely spooky with legitimately scary and emotionally resonant.
